Bill J. Stovall, is a preeminent Dallas, Texas criminal defense lawyer. Bill J. Stovall was born in Puebla, Puebla, Mexico in 1971. He grew up in Guadalajara, Jalisco and in the Oklahoma City area. Stovall is a 1994 graduate of the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. He majored in Political Science and Spanish. He graduated with honors from OU with a bachelors degree in Political Science and began law school at the University of Oklahoma College of Law.

In 1998 Bill graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and moved to Dallas, Texas, Where he spent the next two years as a Dallas County Prosecutor. After honing his skills as a trial lawyer, Stovall left the DA's office and began his own private practice. The intimate knowledge of how the "other side" thinks has proven invaluable to his celebrated work as a criminal defense lawyer.
